BibDesk Scripts

BibTeX is a a tool for managing references in documents typeset using LaTeX. BibTeX stores all of your potential references in one or more databases, and it automatically extracts and formats only those references you cite in your document.
BibDesk is a Mac OS X application for managing your BibTeX databases.
Both MathSciNet and the Front for the Mathematics ArXiv offer BibTeX citation data. The Export to BibDesk script examines the front Safari window and sends the BibTeX citation data for each article it finds to the front BibDesk window.
For MathSciNet, you must be viewing either a search results page or an individual article page. This script extracts all of the MR id numbers displayed in boldface and downloads the BibTeX citation data and text review for each corresponding article.
For the Front for the Mathematics ArXiv, you must be viewing an individual article page. It extracts the BibTeX data from the bottom of the page, as well as the abstract.
